The Downtown Luxury Condo 10 Floors High!

I’m biased, but I think the place is great.

The space
You will be less than a 5 minute walk from
-Hy-Vee (Grocery store)
-Fong’s Pizza (late night pizza place)
-Several Bars
-Walgreens

Inside of the condo building there’s a sushi place and a diner. If you don’t want to go out in the cold to get food, you do not have to. Sweet!

Furthermore, you can use my Netflix account! The TV has a roku attached to it and it’s awesome.

The kitchen is fully stocked with silverware and appliances. Salt, pepper, and some random ingredients are available for your stay.

PARKING IS PROVIDED WITH THIS UNIT! We can arrange a parking spot at an adjacent garage. Full disclosure – access to this lot adds a couple of steps to check-in. You are going to need to find street parking or park at the local Hy-Vee first to gain access to the unit and get the garage opener. Some people are annoyed by these extra steps but hey – it’s free parking 🙂

You’ll be able to access the condo, parking garage, and lower floor gym.

Other things to note
I can only accept reservations from people who have verified names and identifications. This is a crazy world and I can’t just open up my home to any random person out there. Please get verified with your government ID if you are a new user.

Parking can be arranged in our private covered garage, but it a tight squeeze for a large car. The garage has a narrow driveway leading up to my spot, so be very careful if you have a large truck or SUV.

In order to use our parking spot, please let me know in advance.

We have Netflix and Roku based streaming services on the television. There is an antenna that gets local stations. An antenna provides local stations and no basic cable is provided.

PARKING GARAGE ALARM – we have small birds that attempt to live in the garage. To scare them off, there is a very loud motion-activated alarm. If you hear an animal screeching that sounds like a mad bat, that is this alarm. The garage is separate from the main building so no you will not hear this alarm at all while in the unit.

Check in instructions for the unit will be sent on the afternoon of the first day of your stay unless an early check in has been arranged. We have had people walk in on the housekeeper before and thus, we don’t send the instructions until the room is completely ready.

VERY IMPORTANT – if you are planning on checking in after 10pm, we have to make special arrangements for you to get into the building. It’s not a problem to go in late, but there’s one extra step that must be taken.

EARLY CHECK-INS
The most common question I get is, “Can I get an early check-in?”

Yes, early check-in is possible but it cannot be guaranteed until the day of the stay. Please message me the morning of your arrival to try to arrange an early check-in. It all depends on when the previous guest checks out and how quickly I can get the room turned around. I always message my guests the moment a space is ready with instructions on how to access it.

Also it is VERY NORMAL for our cleaners to leave a load of laundry in the dryer before they leave. If there is laundry in the dryer, it’s because we wanted to get you checked in as early as possible.
