This 5400sq ft home offers 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms with a 500sq ft Master Suite that has it’s own private bathroom with a whirlpool tub. Great for large groups, family reunions, events or wedding parties to stay! The property sits on over 2acres with a comfortable walkout back porch with a fire pit.

Our farmhouse homestead retreat offers the quiet and private country space, while being conveniently located near the airport, downtown Des Moines and the Iowa State Fairgrounds. This 5400sq ft home offers 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms with a 500sq ft Master Suite that has its own private bathroom with a whirlpool tub. Great for large groups, family reunions, events, or wedding parties to stay! The property sits on over 2acres with a comfortable walk out back porch with a fire pit, baby goats, and other homestead pets nearby. A full kitchen with an open concept with an attached dining area that has seating for 25 people.

For a unique experience goat, bunny, and chicken tours are available. The firepit is also available for guests to utilize during the stay!

Sleeping arrangements: Bedroom #1 Master has 1 king bed. Bedroom #2 has 1 queen bed. Bedroom #3 has 2, twin beds. Bedroom #4 has 2 twin beds. Bedroom #5 has 2, twin beds. There are also 5 couches, and PLENTY of space for air mattresses and cots if wanting to sleep more than 10 people in beds. Bedding is provided for 10 beds, additional arrangements would need to be made in advance for more.

The entire home is yours alone to utilize all of the facilities. Please note, the family does use this home when not booked, so please be courteous of closet and dresser spaces.

Pets may be discussed, but please make arrangments to ensure appropriate plans are made.

Bedding is provided for the 10 beds, guests will need to provide their own bedding if more than 10 guests are utilizing the home.

Please note there are children in this quiet area so we ask guests keep the outdoor hangouts quiet after 10pm, or move the fun inside! We just want to be gracious to all who live nearby.
