AN EXCEPTIONAL STAY IN AN ARCHITECTURAL TREASURE. Emil Bach House is one of only a few Frank Lloyd Wright homes that your family/group can enjoy by staying for a weekend, or a week! This home is a professionally managed and meticulously restored Wright original, updated with modern conveniences and comfort. We follow the EPA and CDC guidelines for use of approved disinfectants. You can be assured that we have thoroughly prepared for your stay with intensive disinfecting and cleaning processes.

The space
The entrance into the home and the main floor was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright to be a “journey” for guests to take – from the front walkway to around to the “front” door at the back of the house, through the comfy living room with fireplace, window seating and a dining room that is in both the living and dining area. There are two guest rooms located on the 2nd floor, each with a full-sized bathroom. Beds have pillow top mattresses and plush linens, giving you the comfort of a great night’s sleep after exploring our beautiful city.
There is a study with a desk and queen sized pull out sofa bed also located on the 2nd floor, for additional guests or relaxing.
A fully modern kitchen is available for your group to cook together or store goodies.

Guest access
The rental of Emil Bach House includes access to multiple outdoor spaces and a large yard and garden. The home features ground-level patios, small viewing balconies in each bedroom, a large 2nd floor balcony with fresh breezes from Lake Michigan just a block away. The grounds feature a Japanese Tea Room with comfortable seating and doors that open to the gardens.
Please note that events must be booked separately with the Management company and cannot be booked on-line. Events require a contract and an event rental fee. Events are staffed by the management company and require licensed caterers for the serving of food and beverage to guests whom are not staying in the home.

The capacity of the home is 6 people; we have 2 bedrooms plus a study room with sofa bed that can be made up of for you.
