I live for the outdoors—whether it’s hunting, fishing, homestead construction, or time in my vegetable garden. I spent my career as an equine veterinarian, and keep busy nowadays as a full-time ski patroller, wildlife habitat consultant, conservation volunteer, and grandfather. I love to travel and explore new places, meet people, and taste fresh food—especially when it’s off the beaten path!

It is best to reach out to me with questions ahead of your stay. I live in a nearby house up the road from the cabin, but I work full time and am often out of cell phone reception throughout the day. During your stay, I will check Airbnb periodically for any messages, but I am not available for 24 hour service. So try to reach out with questions ahead of your stay, or at check-in time.
